How Does Wellturn Control Quality from Development to Shipment?

Wellturn’s documented quality flow starts with software, hardware and reliability reviews, followed by incoming inspection, process control, finished-product inspection and outgoing inspection. Current controls include qualified-material sourcing, PCBA functional checks, standardized operations, defect isolation, functional and appearance inspection, aging tests, AQL sampling and packaging inspection.

DQC

Development Quality Control

Design review / design confirmation. Software testing. Hardware testing. EVT/DVT/PVT/MP.

IQC

Incoming Quality Control

AVL(Approved Vendor List). Raw-material inspection standards. SPR(Supplier Performance Rating). SDQ(Supplier Dequalification).

PQC

Process Quality Control

Standardized SOP operations. FAI(First Article Inspection). IPQC, QCP(Quality Control Planning). Disposal of process abnormal issues.

OQC

Outgoing Quality Control

Customer requirements. AQL sampling for function, appearance and packaging inspection.

CQC

Customer Quality Control

Customer quality issue complaints and handling. Review the deficient records of internal procedures. Root cause analysis. Output CAPA corrective and preventive action.

How Are Product Reliability and Compliance Verified?

We verify product reliability through bend and button-life testing, high- and low-temperature exposure, strap tensile strength, vibration, aging and salt-spray testing. The applicable test set, method and acceptance criteria are defined for each product. Market compliance is reviewed separately based on product type and destination market, with supporting CE RED, RoHS and FCC documents available for applicable products.

Button Life Test

01. Button Life Tests

Button life testing repeatedly operates the product controls to evaluate durability and response consistency. The number of cycles and acceptance criteria are defined for each product.

High & Low Temperature Test

02. High & Low Temperature Test

This test exposes the product or relevant components to defined hot and cold conditions to assess operation, materials and recovery. The temperature range and duration are set for each product.

Drop Test

03. Drop Test

Drop testing evaluates whether the product and housing can withstand accidental drops during normal use or handling. The drop height, surface and number of impacts follow the approved test plan.

Strap Tensile Strength Test

04. Strap Tensile Strength Test

Using a touchscreen tensile testing machine, we apply controlled pulling force to the collar strap and its connection points. The test checks whether the strap maintains its strength and structural integrity under the specified load.

Aging Test

05. Aging Test

Aging testing runs the product or selected functions for an extended period to identify early failures and performance instability. The duration and operating conditions depend on product requirements.

Salt Spray Test

06. Salt Spray Test

Salt-spray testing evaluates the corrosion resistance of applicable metal parts, coatings and finishes in a controlled environment. Exposure time and acceptance criteria are defined for the tested component.

CE

Radio-enabled products have been assessed against EU requirements for safety, health, electromagnetic compatibility and radio performance.

RoHS

Applicable electrical and electronic products have been assessed against EU restrictions on hazardous substances.

FCC

Radio-frequency devices meet U.S. technical requirements for radio emissions and interference control.

Compliance requirements vary by product, radio configuration and destination market. We provide the relevant CE RED, RoHS and FCC documents for applicable products during project review.

What Engineering Experience Supports Wellturn’s Products?

Engineering Foundation

Innovation is built into how we develop products at Wellturn. Our R&D team includes more than 30 professionals. Five core software engineers and four hardware engineers work under a chief engineer with nearly 30 years of electronic product development and management experience. We invest more than 10% of annual revenue in R&D, introduce an average of over 15 new products each year and have built a portfolio of more than 100 domestic and international patents.

Independent R&D

Independent development gives us control over the software, hardware and product experience behind our solutions. We use customer feedback and market insight to improve how products work in real homes and outdoor settings. Our innovation history includes screen-based and blind-operation training devices, app-connected collars, GPS and radar wireless fences, and the F700 GPS fence recognized by the IDA Design Award.

Innovation Culture

Our culture asks us to think ahead, act quickly and stay open to change. We work with customers toward shared value. We believe an idea becomes useful innovation only when it improves pet safety or usability, passes defined tests and can be produced consistently. That standard gives us the confidence to take ownership from early concept through production validation.

How Can Buyers Plan and Verify a Wellturn Project?

MOQ, sample timing and production lead time depend on the model, customization, packaging, component availability, quantity and production schedule. Buyers can also request model-specific compliance files, discuss third-party inspection or propose a factory audit. Wellturn confirms the applicable commercial and verification requirements after reviewing the complete project scope.

Buyer Questions

Q1. Can buyers arrange a factory audit?

Factory-audit requests can be reviewed based on the audit scope, proposed date, visitor information and confidentiality requirements. Send Wellturn your checklist and preferred schedule so the team can confirm availability, permitted areas and the documents that may be shared.

Q2. Does Wellturn accept third-party inspection?

Third-party inspection requirements should be agreed before order confirmation, including the inspection company, timing, sampling plan, product stage, acceptance criteria, report ownership and cost responsibility

Q3. How are quality issues handled?

Wellturn’s current process includes isolating and analysing defective products. The quality team should add the approved escalation, root-cause, corrective-action, verification and closure process, supported by a redacted CAPA or 8D example.

Q4. What information is needed to request compliance documents?

Provide the exact model, configuration, destination market and requested document type. Wellturn will identify the applicable file set; a document issued for one model or radio configuration should not be assumed to cover another.
